The New Player in the Neighborhood

As some of you know I launched my Mobilehive Internet Café Business last April 1, 2005. Before I came in to this area there are already like more than 10 Internet café around. At first I’m like reluctant to put my business name outside the shop. I feel like I’m the “kontrabida†in this area. Well, that was my feeling a month ago. Later on when I got to know some of the Internet Café owners I felt that I’m still welcome even though I could possibly get some of their potential customers.
Now the challenge I’m facing is how to let other people aware that a new shop and probably a better one does exist in the neighborhood. I started a promo for the first 50 persons to surf for 2 hours last April gets 2 hours free every week until May 31. At first it seems that the promo is too much or I’m just giving them to much free hours. Well, after one month I saw on the result of the promo that 90% of those people who joined referred several of their friends and keep on coming back even without the weekly free hours.
