Upgrading Wordpress 2.04 to 2.2.2

The last time I did an upgrade for this blog site, it went smoothly, no problem or whatsoever. I did not  upgrade it to the latest version since the version of my site is a much much older than the version wordpress had during those time.
Now, wordpress has this version 2.2.2 and I’m not sure if upgrading from 2.04 to 2.2.2 will not result to some errors since  there are already many releases after Ver. 2.04. I have to decide if I’ll just upgrade from 2.04 to just 2.0.11. first then upgrade it to more advance version later. What do you think?
