2009 is here but for the chinese community their Chinese New Year will be on January 26, 2009. This year will be the year of the OX which is also known by its formal name of Yi Chou.

In the Philippine Chinese New Year is also celebrated by our chinese brothers and sisters. Is that of the year where you see red envelopes and chinese wears new red clothings to symbolize a the Chinese New year – Kung Hei Fat Choy. It is said that red will scare away evil spirits and bad fortune.

This could be my last post for this Christmas Season and I hope you spend your money wisely and make sure you’ll still have some budget after the Holiday and New Year. Please also don’t forget not to Text and Drive.
