Its still summer and yet for the past 10 days rain keeps on falling. Since the family outing has been planned already,it was decided rain or shine we will visit Splash Island. And so last saturday we went there. Around 11am it was raining so hard and lighting was so visible. The management of Splash Island temporarily stopped letting people go inside the resort as a safety precaution. Good thing was after like 20 minutes rain stopped and there! the fun has started.
This was our second time to visit Splash Island and it was my kids first choice. Splash Island Entrance Fee is P380 for Adult and P250 for kids. Please note you are not allowed to bring food and water inside. Boiled water of babies can get in.
The first thing you need to do is look for a Hut and table where you can stay and place your things. You can also try different pool or areas inside Splash Island. One of the favorite of my two kids were Agos Grandes. Expect a higher price for food and drinks.
How to go to Splash Island
From Manila just to South Luzon Express Way and take Southwoods Exit. You can also ask toll gate personnel which way to Splash Island. Its just about 5 minutes from Southwood Toll Gate.
Update 4/21/2012 – The entrance fee now is P500 Per head
My youngest daughter Louise aged 6 got a fever last January 4. That evening she cannot really sleep as she was coughing the whole night and eventually she vomits more or less 10 times. Past 12 midnight we decided to rush her to Alabang Medical Hospital ER for thorough check up as we want to make sure that this is not dengue or any life threatening sickness. We were worried because two neighbors got this Dengue and were hospitalized last month.
My daughter went through blood and urine testing. Fortunately the results were all normal. After that she went through medication by using this device called Nebulizer. Then went home past 3am.
The following day, that’s yesterday we still brought her to a pediatrician/pulmonary doctor at Asian Hospital in Alabang for a check up. The Pediatrician suggested to us that Louise should undergo an X-ray. Since we have an advantage card at HealthWay Festival we decided to just go there for an X-tray. So, there the results will be released after two days since children X-ray is much complicated compare to an adult x-ray.
Today, my daughter seems okay though she still have a cough and we still decided not to let her attend her classes.
The family of my siblings visited us yesterday here in San Pedro, Laguna. Usually this happen once a year so it became a reunion for my family and my two kids with their first cousins. While all of the kids enjoyed playing, I did enjoyed taking photos. It was really one of the best days of this year. Maybe we can do this more often, not just during the last month of the year.
It’s examination week for my two kids so I decided not to man my Icafe business on a night shift and leave the responsibilities to my employees. What I usually do is visit the shop early morning and do whatever I needed to do and head back home and wait for the kids to arrive.
After eating Lunch thats the time we do the review for the exam. My eight year old boy is quite independent in terms of studying his lessons though a little push is needed as you know kids will be always be kids. While I’m closely helping my little angel Louise on her subjects. The last day of examination will be on saturday and hopefully they will do good.
