Project Manager – Software Developer
(National Capital Reg – Mandaluyong City)

Responsibilities:

* The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and manage projects according to deadlines and within budget.

* The Project Manager will be responsible for a team of 20 developers working in a mostly Microsoft-based environment.

* The Project Manager will report to senior management located in the US.

* Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

* Direct, assign, divide and manage projects in development from beginning to end, define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.

* Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.

* Manage multiple, concurrent software development projects and be able to discuss them at any time.

* Manage daily activities of the Development Team. Assign workload and verify progress.

* Implement, manage and update daily Work Log for every project.

* Interact with management and developers located in the US, across different time zones.

* Collaborate with Tech Support personnel to ensure security and quality of development environment.

* Collaborate with various departments across different time zones to ensure the delivered product meets the needs of the end users.

* Adhere to best practices in agile software development and coding standards; institute change when necessary and appropriate.

* Perform code and database design reviews.

* Manage all code releases to production.

* Collaborate with third-parties when appropriate.

* Train, guide and evaluate the supervised personnel.

Requirements:

* Management skills:

o 3+ Yrs Experience managing a Team of developers
o Experience with tools for managing project life-cycle
o SCRUM knowledge is a plus
o Ability to implement and enforce company policies
o Ability to enforce coding standards
o Proactive attitude

* Technical skills:

*
o 5+ years experience in Web development
o 4+ years in Software Development
o 3+ with ASP.NET/VB.NET(or C#.NET) /SQL Server

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

* Experience with working across different time zones

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

* Required language(s): English
