I was once addicted with Starcraft Brood War back in college. Just this month I’m playing the game once again my two kids usually are the ones who asks me to play after dinner. By the way, I did changed my routines. I usually go home earlier for the past weeks and eat dinner with my kids. Is 5Pm early? anyway, back to starcraft. My two kids enjoy watching me while I’m playing the game and most of the time they give some suggestions like do some scouting or build this build that then when I was beaten my son usually say “sabi ko sayo parating na sila eh” I just laugh. Cool isn’t it?
We went to the school of my baby girl this morning to witness her kindergarten moving up ceremony. Whew another school year have gone and looking forward for her to attend an advance summer class.
I visited national bookstore in Sta.rosa, laguna earlier and I stumbled to this Guinness Book Of Record 2007. I checked the cover and I saw podcasting is highlighted. I’m a little bit curious about it so I went back to the shop and check the net.
Here’s what I got from http://www.rickygervais.com/guinnessrecord.php
Ricky Gervais and his team were today awarded the Guinness World Record for the most downloaded podcast, gaining an average of 261,670 downloads per episode of ‘The Ricky Gervais Show’ during its first month.
The podcast has been available since December on the Guardian Unlimited website (www.guardian.co.uk) and hosted by the Positive Internet Company to cope with the very high anticipated download levels. Although the podcast was always sure to be hugely popular, actual downloads massively exceeded expectations but still went ahead without any technical hitches.
